If it says ‘Under’, then they expect the score projection for this matchup to not go over a certain amount.
- Puck Line. How much of a favourite or underdog one team is in relation to another; Detroit Red Wings -1.5 would mean that Team X is favoured by a goal and a half, while a +1.5 would mean they are the underdog.
- Money Line (If you wanted to know who was favoured to win this matchup without looking at any point spread or totals, then look for this section of the page. This is what will tell you if one team is favoured or not in this matchup)
- Favorite/Underdog. Based on Money Line, Puck Line, and Team’s Opinion of themselves, this is who Team X has deemed the favourite or underdog in this matchup. These can change throughout the day, so be sure to keep an eye out for any changes!
- More Sportsbooks. This section tells you where you can find this matchup in other sportsbooks. It will be under the same name as above but with a different URL depending on where you want to bet. The currency here is based on how much one unit will be in your currency. For example, 1 Canadian dollar is about 0.75 American dollars)
- Type of Bet. This lets you know what type of bet this is; line, moneyline, puck line, etc.
- More Information. Any further explanation is needed for the matchup. Sometimes teams are listed as home/away even though they’re playing on the road because their home rink is being used for a special event. This section will explain why they’re in this situation and what is happening with them.
- More Matchups. This section tells you where to find the rest of the matchups for that day, along with links to those matchups.
- Scoreboard/Leaderboard. This shows you all the scores from around the league. If there is a point spread on this game, then the projected score after regulation will be shown. If there is no point spread on this matchup, then it will just show who won. This section also shows you where teams rank in their conference or division.
- Standings. This shows you where all of the teams in your league are ranked by points, putting more points in the bank than anyone else in your league. It also shows you where a unit is in relation to a team and how many units a team has put in the bank.
- Result. This section tells you what happened when this matchup was completed, either who won the game outright if there was no point spread on this matchup or who covered the point spread if there was one. It will also show what percentage of people won their bets in this matchup, along with how many units they each gained.
- Next Matchup. This shows you who is favoured in the next matchup between these two teams; it will be based on line movement throughout the day, or sometimes Team X just has no opinion on it and will leave it blank.
- Current Streaks. This section shows the current streaks these two teams are on; winning streaks, losing streaks, undefeated streaks, etc.
- Who’s Hot/Who’s Cold. This section tells you who is currently hot or cold based on a recent NHL play. If there are two hot streaks, then it will show both of them. It will also say how many games these streaks have lasted for.
- Projected Lines. This section tells you what lines Vegas is projecting for the upcoming matchup. It will show who is projected to be favoured on home ice, on the road, or being even across both lineups.
- Projected Lines – Injury Update. This section shows you any injuries that have happened since this article was written. If there are no injuries, then this section won’t be there.
- Projected Lines – Power Play (This shows you how each team stacks up on the power-play. It will tell who is ranked first in the league, who is ranked second, etc.
- Projected Lines – Penalty Kill. This tells you which team is ranked first in the league on the penalty kill and who is ranked second. This section also tells you how many shorthanded goals each team has scored.
- Point Spread. This line shows you what number Team X has projected for this matchup. It shows which side is favoured by that number of points. Note: If there is no point spread on the matchup, then this line won’t be here, and you will see a 0 instead.
How can I Check my Bet’s Result?
